Life's a beach!!

My trip to P.Tioman is definitely a wonderful one...best holiday i have ever been.. I shall conclude that my life can never be complete without beaches...(pun intended).

I guess its the company i have that makes it 90% so wonderful..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Dudes and dudets...thanks for sponsoring part of the trip for my burfday...will nv forget it.

...the other 10% is of course the venue..location..."my beach!!"

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We stayed over at paya beach. juz in case u do not noe, tioman island is fucking big...although it is called an island. i think it at least have 1/2 the size of Singapore.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
we stayed at paya beach resort...used to be called tioman paya resort.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
we started out like bai zhan ji..as white and tender as boiled chicken..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
the room we have mahjong sessions, fight nites, fart, sing, fart, joke, fart...did i say fart? no? farting...and slp

tioman is actually not as cheap as we naive s'poreans think it is...our first meal at the resort cost as much as eating mac back in s'pore...and mac taste so much better..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
serene not being happy that she is charged so much,...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
so she decided to get value back for money... "more chilli sauce pls", she said!

we didn't do much on the first day. by the time we arrived at tioman, it was already 2pm. we are all bus-lagged and boat-lagged. 5 hours of coach and 2 hours of boat..dun pray pray hor.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
this is how "my beach" looks like when it is low tide...full of ROCKS!!! SHARP ones.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
but it was so alive that many creatures live among these rocks.. children juz simply loves these creatures.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
this are the creatures they caught.. consist of small crab, sea cucumber, and sea snail (as told to me by a young girl when i thought it was a baby hermit crab. yah..everything is in that "pool" they made.

the second day is a pretty normal day as well...most interesting is that we played UNO H2O in the swimming pool...seen it before? now see this...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
semi transparent plastic Uno deck that's played in water.

funny thing is that among the 7 of us, the last 3 who finishes will have to pick the cards which have sunk into the bottom of the pool and none of us can barely open our eyes underwater.

i had a mild tanning session as well by the beach..

supin happy with her tan and breakfast

on the third day, we went snorkelling....at 2 sites... it was my first time snorkelling and the experience was indescribable... (will post my snorkelling pics once i have them)

but the journey to the sites is another tedious boat ride...so bo liao that i took all this pics...and more...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
setting off early morning in a bum boat

nice angled shot...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
nice shot of boat, sea, island, sky, and monkeys

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
the never ending horizon and the tip of the bum boat

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
you might not know wat this is..but its a fucking school of fish looking like floating algae..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
i think i look like bomberman...and serene, like lobster...thats how "overcooked" she is.

i will post more pics once i have all of them...i think total pics taken from 5 cameras is about 1000. 30 of them is from an underwater camera.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
a storm was brewing the nite before we left..and i managed to capture this shot...LIGHTNING that's red orangey in colour...eerie..and yet spectacular

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
while waiting at the jetty for our ferry back to main land, mount tioman was angry that we are leaving that he erupted...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
actually its juz smoke/clouds but it makes for a nice scenery pic...

after this tioman trip, i have concluded yet another 2 theories

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
that sunrise is the most beautiful sight you can ever see from the causeway..

and that there are more motorcycles in JB than the whole population in malaysia..dun believe?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
just see this...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
and this..and you will believe!!

7th Lunar Month Publicity

If you every go to PS these few weeks, you probably would see this in the toilet.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
"can someone pass me some toilet paper?"

and this along the walkways outside the cinemas..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
do not dirty the floor...or the maid shall haunt you. NO LAUNDRY and COOKING for her too!

this stunt has been heavily criticised by fucking hairless, balless, gutless, wimps visiting the cinema's facilities. i personally thinks that this is creativity at its best. kudos to the person, company, for pulling such a stunt. ups to GV for making full use of the psychological advantage over us, during the most feared month of the year.

these pics were not taken by me...i wouldn't mind a photo opportunity with "the maid". i wonder would my maid turn into "the maid" if she ever watched the show, juz to scare me or my brother during the wee hours. but i doubt it. coz she's also a total corward.

not too long ago, i also saw this... although not a publicity stunt, it is still related to a movie.

replica of the Toyota AE86 from the anime Initial D.

Some say the this car very act act. "sheo xiang chia, bo xiang lang" meaning same car, different driver in hokkien, referring to the lousy driver.

i guess thats because the driver doesn't deliver tofu...

John

its the first day of school, more appropriately, poly. i noe nuts about poly or even wat to expect on my first day. During my orientation, my seniors did tell me wat the hospi (hospitality management) corhort would be like...

i woke up as usual, reached school by 8.45am and went into lt 19 (if i remember it correctly). i looked at the OHP and saw where i was suppose to seat. i will be seated together with my other classmates. i when over, saw so many unfamiliar faces except for those who were at the orientation. the few whom i can remember was roger, elly, anna, june, and nic.

all 4 of them were at the week '0' orientation for freshmen like me. thats why i can remember them. roger stood out among the rest cause he's a guy. Not that that i m gay but my class only have 5 guys out of 25 students leh...cos i remember him.

as for elly and anna, i got to remember them when we were playing games during the orientation. damn seniors put me inbetween the 2 of them when we were suppose to pass a piece of card or tissue (i can't remember which one) using only our mouth. SABO sia... i was so shy cause at first impression, i think the 2 of them are pretty good lookers. but now...AIYAH...normal lah.. haha

june was the first person i kinda spoke to during orientation...i remembered clearly that it was still early and i was sitted in LT 19.. she was juz sitting beside me...about 1 or 2 seats to my left away. these 2 seats were empty though. i was staring straight..looking fucking sian..and then a senior came over and said..."do you noe her name?" i smiled and shook my head...not daring to look at june. "why not the 2 of you intro yourselves...hospi must more garang one!" and she walked away...to my relief.

i continue to look around the LT trying to spot some nice lookers and suddenly...someone tapped on my shoulder.. i turned my head to the left and saw a hand stretched out in a handshake positiong... "hi, i am june" she said in a tom-boyish manner. i shooked her hand and then introed myself. we didn't talk after that... yeah...that's me..introvert.

as for nic, i guessed everyone remember this person. rebonded long shoulder length thick black hair, spec-ky faced, and wearing punked t-shirt, she, i mean he walked into the LT late and with a beng-ish swagger. did i say SHE? yeah i did. nic is not short-form for nicole but nic-(k) or nicholas. till now..i dunno which one. i really thought that he was a she at first. super anti social attitude. i m introvert but he is anti-social... 1st impression, i dun like him...thats why i remember him.

tracking back to my first day of school, sometime past 9am, in walked a plump spectacled man. he looks kinda different and i just dunno why, and he squeezed into a seat where my class was sitting. he is john.

i didn't intro myself to him until my first meet the lecturers session. the whole class was led from the LT to a classroom at the 5th floor i think. we were sitted down...and a lecturer walked in, introed himself and then asked all of us to sit in pairs...with our backs facing each other. roger, john and me were paired together as we are the only 3 guys at that time and all the other girls are paired together liao... i was thinking "damn it, with 2 guys, wat fun would there be then?" i said hi to john and intro myself to him.

we were asked to not look at our partners, and describe him in as much details as possible. so i had to describe john, john to do roger and roger to do me.

i vaguely remember wat i describe john - "his name is john, wearing a spectacle, blah blah blah...his waist..ermm (long pause)...i think lah...is 38 inches" FUCKED...i touched sensitive topic...everyone burst out laughing... i was afraid that john would be angry...but he did not. to my relieve, and magnimously, he said "hahaha, i think you really flatter me"

after the describing session, we are to do a little intro of ourselves...only then i noe why he looked different...he is much older than us...about 5 - 6 years older than me. albeit that totally clicks with the class.

that really up my impression of him. and during the 3 poly years, this impression had not change. after poly, he departed for USA to further his studies.

i have not seen him since...and he is coming back tomorrow... i simply can't wait to see him again.

for this 4 years that i have known him, he has been selfless, generous, witty, full of crap, richer than any of his classmates, and having very good work ettiques. till now i believe he have not changed much...the thing that change is that he is already a degree holder. see you on wednesday nite john!

*note: this entry is based on my memories...i have very bad memories and some parts of it might be mixed up..dun blame me.. John...touch anot? tribute to you leh.

Shit lies in the eye of the beholder

WOOOO HOOO...

1 more year to National Day 2006,
1 more year to ORD!!!

this year, i think it will remain in my record for the very 1st NDP that i will simply love to hate. not only i don't get to enjoy the public holiday, i dun even get to watch the parade, and to rub salt into wound, i m to be at marina south for the ndp carnival as fatigue party.

in another words, NDP this year is full of shit for me. (sai gang)

however, i think this year's ndp compared to previous years, it has grown so much...to make itself different from previous ndps. perhaps its the fact that it has shifted to padang, and also...singapore's coffers is reaching the brim...so we need to spend more money on fireworks lah, carnival lah... and petrol for the tanks going around the city and neighbourhood areas leh... petrol not cheap leh..!!

our national day have been very memorable to me since my poly year 2. except for last yr, i was involved in being a motivator aka clown at the national stadium. can't be a motivator now though i feel like becoming one again. entering the service has made me lose all my motivation. i guess if i can see pink then i will be motivated again.

this yr, i got to get one of the highest honour of being a member of public. The minister's award for PUBLIC SPIRITEDNESS leh!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
let me how lian abit lah... not everyone can get one leh...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
it reads
"Mr Kenny Han Huo Guang
Minister's Award for Public Spiritedness
5 Aug 2005"

my dad got it too. anyway, its a long story to how i got this award... summary...i assisted the SCDF to put out a blaze juz below my flat. hmm...i always knew i had a superhero in me...

back to ndp marina south...

i was walking around in my free time to look at an event called 'auto drag'. as the name suggest, its a drag race....yup...u heard (read) it right...drag racing.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
they are using cars like these to race...juz to name a few.. mitsubitshi evo, nissan skyline, subaru wrx...

speaking of wrx, today i saw a wrx...with a funny car plate.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
introducing a new and stylist mod for your car....CARdboard plate.

at the auto show, they also showcased some super modded audio system on some autos.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
this is a JBL van, this part of the van is filled with amps with 2 super huge bass.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
it also have LCD tv with surround sound.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
and one leather seat with 2 subwoofers juz by the side. Rich bugger!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Image hosted by Photobucket.com
gold plated amps on another car...another rich bugger!!

auto babes are not uncommon in these shows...but sad to say, i have yet to see one on our shores. y cant they get those from japan? damn it!!

erh...here are some better ones.....i won't spoil your appetite

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
jackie chan's evo IX being tortured!!

in real life, the middle one is not bad...the right one is acceptable...the left one....HAIZZZZ

shall take more pictures of the carnival if i can...

last week, back in camp, a bee hive was sighted in one of the bunk.

so being a big KPO, i wanted to see how it looks like.

when i saw it, i din squirm, din flick, din move...

i was like 3 fucking meters from this thing

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
a bee hive thats slightly bigger than an adult's head.

i wasnt really scared...its juz that i dun wanna make a wrong move....i dun think i would like to be a target board for the bees to practice their aim.

i slowly make my way out of the bunk and close the door... the next day, pest exterminators came....bye bye bee hive.

gotta slp soon...more pics to come another day..dunno when lah...

also...i passed my practical 1 on my second try...now waiting for prac 2 loh...

also, Happy Belated Bday to John, and Andezu. may the 2 of you be happy in life, find what you have been searching for in life, and live life to the fullest.
