Strange Curses

i think it's karma.

it definitely is karma.


after i did this to Bernard...

i never expected something worse to happen to me.

it happened during the Freshmen Orientation Camp for Hall 8.

we were playing some games along orchard rd.

to be more exact, it was outside ngee ann city at the civic plaza fountain.

everything juz happened very quickly.....


and i was dressed up...


made up...


and bust up.


The whole clan loves me...i love them too


but somehow, i think i love these 2 shy guys more....

these 2 ang mos thought i was getting married. whah aha... bernard, roger, john, ni men yao qu wo mah?

well, ru hua doesn't look so bad actually. haha

if you haven't start laughing at me now, you better do.

this is the very few chances which i will post stupid pictures of me on my blog to let u laugh at.

This is a warning to all my friends out there.

Please heed my advice.

Especially when any of your friend's birthday is coming.

Never ever forever promised him/her/it a sunflower cake.

To be more exact, it is a sunflower design cake.

It actually sounds common enough to be easily available in cake shops like bangawan solo, han's, angie's choice, etc.

So i agreed to help a friend to order one before he go overseas and when he comes back, he can celebrate the birthday of some friend of his.

So off i go, to these few shops. to my major surprise, all these shops doesn't have any sunflower design cakes.....what they have are damn ORBIT designs....animals, zodiacs lah...worst of it all is smiley faces. if i want a smiley face, i on my MSN emoticons got liao.

So being a bloody good friend, i never gave up searching for the rare sunflower cake. i used a little brain juice to think that maybe the neighbourhood bakeries might have the design. so off i trottered to the 3 neighbourhood bakeries. Again, i couldn't believe that the sunflower design could be so difficult to draw. all 3 rejected my request to customise the cake.

I almost gave up hope when my 6th sense told me to go to the final bakery. this bakery is not a famous bakery, neither is it spacious. But at that moment, any bakery that can bake me a sunflower cake is the best bakery.

when i reached the bakery, i asked in chinese:

Me: Aunty ah, you go sunflower design cake anot?
Aunty: i show u the pictures that i have then u chose from there. see got anot.

Me: aunty ah, dun have leh
Aunty: then no choice liao...unless you have the sunflower picture.
Me: i dun have picture lah. how?? but hor, sunflower look like this de *Points to the photo album (the photo album is sunflower design)
Aunty: okok i draw for you, see if can anot.

Aunty draws a sunflower on a rough paper

Me: Aunty, u draw one is not sunflower loh...is more like...pineapple tart leh.
Aunty: haha...ok lah..you wait...i ask me shi fu to come out.

Shifu comes out from the kitchen.

Shifu: I draw for you the design then u tell me if it is ok anot.

Shifu drew a nice picture of sunflower.

Me: Shifu guo ran is shifu. pei fu pei fu.

So i ordered the cake, and my friend gave a pleasant surprise to that girl.

But i am not gonna let you all know where i found the sunflower cake. hee...my birthday is coming...and i want a sunflower cake, whoever can buy me one, i give him/her a birthday kiss. haha

ORD in 2 days...

FOC has taken its toll on me...for 6 days, i did not have enuff sleep, lost my voice, bad hair, dirty clothes, and body aches...

but all this is worth it.

i got to make many friends, played some really physically strainous games, got a blind date, and also got myself embarassed in town....

and all this is worth it.
