Strange Curses

1 more year to National Day 2006,
1 more year to ORD!!!

this year, i think it will remain in my record for the very 1st NDP that i will simply love to hate. not only i don't get to enjoy the public holiday, i dun even get to watch the parade, and to rub salt into wound, i m to be at marina south for the ndp carnival as fatigue party.

in another words, NDP this year is full of shit for me. (sai gang)

however, i think this year's ndp compared to previous years, it has grown so much...to make itself different from previous ndps. perhaps its the fact that it has shifted to padang, and also...singapore's coffers is reaching the brim...so we need to spend more money on fireworks lah, carnival lah... and petrol for the tanks going around the city and neighbourhood areas leh... petrol not cheap leh..!!

our national day have been very memorable to me since my poly year 2. except for last yr, i was involved in being a motivator aka clown at the national stadium. can't be a motivator now though i feel like becoming one again. entering the service has made me lose all my motivation. i guess if i can see pink then i will be motivated again.

this yr, i got to get one of the highest honour of being a member of public. The minister's award for PUBLIC SPIRITEDNESS leh!!!

my dad got it too. anyway, its a long story to how i got this award... summary...i assisted the SCDF to put out a blaze juz below my flat. hmm...i always knew i had a superhero in me...

back to ndp marina south...

i was walking around in my free time to look at an event called 'auto drag'. as the name suggest, its a drag race....yup...u heard (read) it right...drag racing.


they are using cars like these to race...juz to name a few.. mitsubitshi evo, nissan skyline, subaru wrx...

speaking of wrx, today i saw a wrx...with a funny car plate.


introducing a new and stylist mod for your car....CARdboard plate.

at the auto show, they also showcased some super modded audio system on some autos.


this is a JBL van, this part of the van is filled with amps with 2 super huge bass.


it also have LCD tv with surround sound.


and one leather seat with 2 subwoofers juz by the side. Rich bugger!

auto babes are not uncommon in these shows...but sad to say, i have yet to see one on our shores. y cant they get those from japan? damn it!!

last week, back in camp, a bee hive was sighted in one of the bunk.

so being a big KPO, i wanted to see how it looks like.

when i saw it, i din squirm, din flick, din move...

i was like 3 fucking meters from this thing


a bee hive thats slightly bigger than an adult's head.

i wasnt really scared...its juz that i dun wanna make a wrong move....i dun think i would like to be a target board for the bees to practice their aim.

i slowly make my way out of the bunk and close the door... the next day, pest exterminators came....bye bye bee hive.

also...i passed my practical 1 on my second try...now waiting for prac 2 loh...
