Strange Curses

it has been years since i went to the bird park.....

probably since like i was in Pri 2..

all i can remember was the huge ass waterfall that i saw.

all the hype abt it being the largest man made one 10+ years ago.

probably now it is ONLY ONE of the largest man made one. haha....

there is a chinese saying that goes there is always one mountain higher than the other...

to me, there is always one man made waterfall higher than the other.

We reached Jurong Bird Park in the late morning after a freaking long ride there....my ass was numb when i got off the bike.

we had bongo burgers for brunch.


Bongo burger...not that fantastic but acceptable. it's very filling too.


Their mugs where damn classic loh...i like it. i got this sudden urge to steal it actually but i listened to the "angel" next to me.

Their staff wore some safari uniform that's really cute...complete with safari hat and boots. haha very eye catching. Leeyan and I agreed that we should get one each so can role-play.


the bird park toilet also very nice.... make until like rainforest.... make me pee at ease while looking at the water flowing down from the roof. how ingenius these designers are!

We then went to see the different exhibits...photo intensive hor...


1 king penguin..


1 flock of king penguins...

the penguins are damn cute man....i think they are really special... clumsy on land, but agile in water. and they have sex and bond for life till they die. and they don't remarry.


i think i can connect with them very well.


we are in the aviary....


the aviary is full of lorries lories....


and i bought some bird feed for them. consist of honey and nectar.


the birds are damn cute lah.....

and while i was feeding some of the lories...


this particular lory started to flirt with leeyan...

than it started to dance....swaying from left to right...

then i shoo-ed it away before things get out of hand...i think the bird will hump her...or maybe it's just because of jealousy. haha


birds can be very ungreatful too......


i was feeding this bigger sized lory....


and it turned and wanted to bite me when i wanted to stroke it.


and i taught him some manners by chiding it.
I went "oh no no....you dun bite your master...you ungreatful bird...., whose your daddy now?"


gossip-mongers...just like the girls in ben and jerry's....hahaha

this ostrich became territorial when i went to view it... my point is....perhaps i am a chick magnet. heh heh.


the man-made waterfall!!!!....it still is the same as 16 years back! hahhaa nostalgia.
