Strange Curses

Yeah, back to blogging after about 1 week of meeting with the gahmen on whether the open casinoes anot...chay...actually no lah, been playing xbox in my free time. need for speed underground 2 is HOT! so is the topic for s'pore to have a casino. i dunno what you guys think about opening a casino. some say casiNO, while i say casiYES. this debate forever will never end. well, we can't have the best of both worlds though, having casinoes which will give us "big banks" and yet have no social ills. but for those who actually belongs to the casiNO side, juz an idea for you which the gahmen dare not say; if you never try, you will never know whether a casino will work out.

my opinion is that it will actually be damn good for singapore. in 4 years time, i plan to help out in one of the IR (integrated resort). well, go read more newspapers and be swayed by the gahmen to the casiYES side. i believe religious groups are strongly against casinoes but FUCK THEM when they have so many own problems to deal with like those extreme muslims who fucking like to bomb everyone, christians having deal with Satan himself and to preach to the whole fucking world, and so on, why bother about this kind of social ills that weren't there yet. maybe, juz maybe, these people have better foresight than i have for s'pore...chayyy... haha...

as s'poreans, we should support the gahmen like we support EPL soccer. and speaking of that, Man U lost again last night....BLOODY HELL. they should go watch coach carter (touch on that later) and get some inspiration on winning instead of going to niteclubs and drink like fuck. but nonetheless, i still support Man U. Luveee you guys...

CC is a movie which i watched recently with roger and tanvi... met up with them last sat to catch up and watch a movie.

This philosophy is one that is followed by the very real Coach Ken Carter, who oversees the direction of Richmond High School's basketball program in Calfornia. In 1999, Carter found himself in the center of controversy when he locked out his entire Varsity basketball team (including his own son) in order to motivate and push them to improve their grades.

Not only did the coach close the gym, but he also banned any and all basketball-related activities. He was even prepared to cancel his entire season after 15 of his 45 players failed to live up to the classroom standards they agreed to in a contract they had signed earlier in the semester. His approach worked for at least one of the kids: his son Damien made the honor roll from that time until his graduation, and was accepted to West Point Academy.

i rate it 4/5 stars. i kinda like this kind of movies. inspires me to view life from a different way.
